Project Title:  Nutrition and Health Education in School

 

Problem Statement: Awareness of WINS and Nutrition Education. The learners are not fully aware on different programs in school like WINS so they tend to non-practice proper hygiene behavior which may lead to different hygiene-related diseases like chronic diarrhea, pinworms, tooth decay and etc. While nutrition education is a very important part since it plays a vital role on the development of physical and mental growth in our life. The learners must be informed about the benefits of healthy eating behavior to improve dietary habits, food choices and to prevent nutritional deficiencies and proper nutrition will also help the learners to be smart and alert in school.

Project Objective Statement: To disseminate information to learners on proper hand washing, personal hygiene, sanitation and support the nutrition month celebration which value nutrition and health education in school.

Root Cause: • Lack of time to disseminate information to all 

•It is not integrated in every subjects
• Learners being unaware of the different programs in school
