The City Government of Imus recognizes the boundless creativity of youth. Hence, Imus Youth Affairs organized Social Media Fest which provides young people a stage where they can showcase their artistry in creating videos for social media consumption. As a campus filled with talented youth, GEANHS joined the competitions and earned two wins: 1ST PLACE & PEOPLE CHOICE AWARD - IMUSIKABATAAN JEFFERSON JAYME, KIMBERLY CASILI, JANE MEDIANA, SAMANTHA CHAINE TOLENTINO, RUSSELL JOHN RAMOS, JETHRO H. ANTONIO COACHES: HELEN MARIE F. CARREON, DAN MICHAEL S. ESQUITA 2ND PLACE - MUSIC VIDEO MAKING MA. THERESE HARDER, KIRK DANYELLE NOVELA, KOJI DELES, KATHLEEN JOYCE ROLDAN, AILAINE JOY TORREGOZA, YESHUA MIGUEL ABRENICA COACHES: MARK DEO S. ESQUITA, MICHAEL B. ZUÑIGA, MARY ANN N. VILLAREAL, JOANNE V. CURA, CAROL V. DELA ROSA, MAY A. SOTOMAYOR The awarding ceremony was held at Imus Sports Complex on November 21, 2018. All wins were made possible through the support of the school body who voted for all GEANHS' entries.

This year's Regional Festival of Talent (RFOT) was held on November 5-9, 2018 at the Schools Division of Laguna Province. Among many contenders, GEANHS was able to gain two major awards as representatives of the School Division of Imus City. MIGUELITO E. MAABA and coach FRANCIS P. GUTIERREZ earned the 1ST PLACE at PINTAHUSAY. JULIANA S. SAULDA, SHAINA FE R. DE GUZMAN, CHRISTEL ANNE C. MECONO and PRINCESS JOY ANNE A. SANCHEZ, together witj coaches Ms. IRISH V. BAQUIRAN and Ms. JOANA J. DE LEON got 3RD PLACE in INTERPRETATIBONG PAGBASA.

One of the most anticipated gathering of researchers in the country is the annual conference organized by DepEd CALABARZON. This year, the Conference of Basic Education Researchers - South East Asia (CBER-SEA) was born. Hundreds of attendees and presenters from different regions gathered at De la Salle Health and Sciences Institute on November 27-29, 2018. Through the trust and support of school principal, Mrs. Lerma V. Peña, selected GEANHS teachers and administrators were able to participate in the conference. Mrs. Elizabeth Z. Villanueva, Mrs. Raisa D. Sontillano, Mr. Joseph Carreon, Mr. Michael Angelo S. Maleriado, Ms. Marycon Carmela G. Mella, Ms. Mary Ann N. Villareal, and Ms. Joanne V. Cura presented their papers in breakout sessions. For the Interactive Poster Presentation, Ms. Himaya R. Zapanta, Mrs. Juanita A. Quimpo, Ms. Toni Rose Gianne Nato, Mr. Federico I. Lachica, Mrs. Greta M. Guinto, Ms. Marycon Carmela G. Mella, Mr. Cristopher M. Romeroso and Mr. Manny Esguerra represented the school. In the closing ceremony, two GEANHS teachers were recognized: Ms. Marycon Carmela G. Mella for 2nd Best Interactive Poster and Mr. Joseph R. Carreon for 3rd Best Paper.

Young Emilian scientists once again brings home recognition from the Regional Science and Technology Fair (RSFT) held Sta. Cruz, Laguna on November 5-9, 2018. Under the mentorship of Ms. Maria Lina C. Sanding, Ken Vincent T. Laoreno, Khaiella L. Magdaraog, and Juvert V. Vista won 5th Place in the Science Investigatory Project – Life Science (Team Category). Aside from the winners, GEANHS also represented the Schools Division of Imus City in Science Investigatory Project Individual Category and Team Category.
