From October 16 to 20, 2023, Grade 7 and Grade 8 students from General Emilio Aguinaldo National High School (GEANHS) gathered at the school's ICT Hub for the Digital Literacy Training that aims to equip learners with digital skills essential for the modern world.

This initiative was made possible through the support and collaboration with the City Government of Imus. Specifically, the City of Imus Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) and City of Imus Public Library played instrumental roles in bringing this vision to reality.

During the five-day training, students delved into various digital and online tools, such as Microsoft applications, which are fundamental in today's digital age. The sessions were facilitated by Mr. John Philip Tan and Engr. Adrian Barrera from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Cavite.

With the successful completion of this training, GEANHS has recently sealed its partnership with DICT Cavite to provide advocacy and training programs for Emilian learners, personnel, and parents.

FOur SDRRM team work together to install additional emergency lights in our school buildings, to provide illumination and security in case of power outage.

They are powered by extension cords that were made by our Grade 7 learners, under the guidance of TLE teachers. This is a great example of how our classroom activities provide real life solutions and improvements to our environment.
