March 22, 2021

The Emilian community celebrates the 25th founding anniversary of GEANHS on March 22, 2021. Named after Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, the school's founding was made official on the date of his birth.

GEANHS was founded in 1996, through the efforts of late Governor Erineo "Ayong" S. Maliksi. The school began its operations with only 3 teachers: Mrs. Cayetana Gelbolingo; Mrs. Crisanta F. Caudal; and Ms. Marites R. Peñaredonda.

There were only two buildings to accommodate 156 students.   In time,   infrastructure was improved and more rooms were constructed. GEANHS' TEC spearheaded the improvement of the entrance arc and stage around 2006. Barangay Chairpersons in Imus collaborated to provide lighting facilities to the covered court. The GPTA headed the construction of a concrete fence around the perimeter of the school.
GEANHS now caters to over 10,000 students from Imus City, and other nearby municipalities. More classrooms have been put up and more teachers now work together to build a community where every child has access to quality, relevant and liberating education.
