CARREON, MORENO, MELLA RECEIVE INSTABRIGHT NATIONAL AWARDS

Three Emilian teachers were recognized in the 2nd InstaBright National Awards for Educators on January 9, 2021 held at Development Academy of the Philippines, Tagaytay City, Cavite.

 

Mr. Joseph R. Carreon, was awarded Outstanding Researcher of the Year and Innovative Teacher of the Year; Ms. Melanie Mae N. Moreno, was recognized as Outstanding Teacher of the Year; and Ms. Marycon Carmela G. Mella, received the Innovative Teacher of the Year award.

 

InstaBright National Awards for Educators is a biannual award-giving body organized by InstaBright Publications, which recognizes the dedication and passion of Filipino teachers.

SDO IMUS PROVIDES TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO GEANHS

Dr. Glenda DS Catadman, Chief of Curriculum Implementation Division of the Schools Division Office of Imus City, and Mr. Ricardo M. David III, OIC – Education Program Supervisor for Filipino, visited GEANHS to provide technical assistance on the implementation of Modular Distance Learning (MDL) and Online Distance Learning (ODL).

 

Mrs. Lerma V. Peña, Principal IV, and department heads gathered at the Conference Room on January 22, 2021 to receive monitoring results and key areas for improvement.

ICT TEACHERS NOW GOOGLE CERTIFIED EDUCATORS

To strengthen teachers’ ICT skills, particularly on the use of Google for Education applications, the Schools Division Office of Imus City encouraged and supported school ICT coordinators and selected ICT teachers to take the certification.

 

On January 6, 2021, 6 Emilian ICT teachers successfully passed the Google for Education, Google Certified Educators Level I examination: Ms. Mary Ann N. Villareal, Master Teacher I; Mr. Michael B. Zuñiga, Teacher I ; Ms. Marycon Carmela G. Mella, Teacher II; Mr. Mark Deo S. Esquita, Teacher I; Ms. Antonia B. Dumalagan, Teacher III; and Ms. Joanne V. Cura, Teacher I.
