Research enthusiasts from different schools in Imus City gathered in GEANHS on February 28, 2018 to witness RACE (Research Advocacy for Community Empowerment) 2018, a competition and exhibit of research abstracts. It is high time for research to be means of feasible solutions to empirical issues and challenges facing the field of education in the present time, ASDS Go pointed out in his speech during the Opening Program. After the formal opening of the exhibition, researchers went to their respective posts and were given time to further explain their work to other participants. In total, 14 Science Investigatory Projects for competition were presented and 50 posters for exhibition were installed. RACE 2019 is an attempt to be recorded as the biggest simultaneous research convention in the Philippines.

The Schools Division of Imus City held its 2nd Management Committee Meeting (MANCOM) on February 19, 2019 at GEANHS Science Laboratory Room. As part of its commitment to transparency of information, each unit/section presented its accomplishments and targets: Curriculum and Implementation Division; School Governance and Operations Division; and Office of the Schools Division Superintendent. The Superintendent’s Hour and Assistant Superintendent’s Hour gave way to discussing other matters concerning the schools division and its mission and vision.

For the first National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) of the year, thousands of students, teachers, personnel and administrators demonstrated the duck-cover-and-hold procedure as preparation for achieving disaster readiness. GEANHS has been consistently firm In SDRRM, religiously participating in the NSED and conducting orientations and trainings on surviving handling natural hazards, including rescue operations and first aid. Recently, a study was conducted to identify the necessary measures for school capacity building in terms of SDRRM. "Every quarter, we achieve better results during the NSED. More and more wholeheartedly participate. This is a proof of out deepened understanding on disasters, its threats and preparations to be done," Mr. Marlon Q. Martinez, SDRRM Coordinator, explained.
