GEANHS’ BERF GRANTEES ATTEND RESEARCH COMMENCEMENT

Selected GEANHS teachers attended the Commencement Exercises of the Basic Education Research Fund (BERF) 4th Cycle Batch 1. The two-day activity was held on December 2-3, 2019 at The Linden Suites, Pasig City. Participants in the activity are the researchers of 5 papers approved for BERF funding by the research committee of DepEd Region IV-A (CALABARZON): Mr. Joseph R. Carreon, Mr. Michael Angelo C. Maleriado, Ms. Marycon Carmela G. Mella, Ms. Mary Ann N. Villareal, Ms. Joanne V. Cura, and Mr. Federico R. Lachica.

APOSTOL’S WORLD AIDS POSTER WINS CHAMPIONSHIP

Edrian C. Apostol of 7-Anemone claims the top spot for the Poster Making Contest of the World AIDS Day Celebration hosted by the Imus Wellness and Reproductive Center and the Imus Sectoral AIDS Council. Under the mentorship of Mr. Francis P. Gutierrez, Apostol competed with public and private high schools in the Schools Division of Imus City on December 6, 2019 at the Imus Sports Complex. The theme of this year’s World AIDS day is “Communities make the difference”, emphasizing the role of communities—both leaders and members—in advocating relevant and grounded response to people living with AIDS.
