Science, Technology and Engineering (STE) students filled the ICT Hub with their innovative projects that showcase the products of their scientific exploration.


Learners from GEANHS' regular classes and special programs and pupils from Palico Elementary School, headed by the school head Ms. Alona Verdad, explored the exhibits and witnessed firsthand the creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills displayed by the STE students. 


Division Science Coordinator, Ms. Rochelle S. Balete, also visited the exhibits and sparked intellectual dialogues with the young scientists, encouraging them to continue discovering and exploring the various fields of science.


Now on its second day, the Science Exhibit features captivating experiments, research outputs, and robotics developed by STE learners under the mentorship of their Science teachers.

English Department and SEO, spearheaded by HT VI Marites Peñaredonda, congratulate winners of recently concluded WORD CLASH for finishing its Semi-Final and Final Rounds triumphantly, showcasing their mastery and wit in both language and literature lessons! 


This School-Wide English Quiz Bee 2023 aimed to continually promote educational reading habit among Emilians from Grade 7 to Grade10, as they practice and develop vocabulary and analytical skills under the mentorship of their respective English teachers.

GEANHS' Science week concluded last Friday with an awarding ceremony that celebrated the exceptional Science Investigatory Projects, display boards and exhibits of Science, Technology and Engineering (STE) students.


Since May 22, our STE learners showcased a remarkable display of scientific inquiry, innovation, and critical thinking, as they presented their findings with utmost professionalism. 


We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and participants for their remarkable dedication and intellectual prowess.


A special note of gratitude goes to our esteemed mentors and teachers for their invaluable guidance and expertise.
Together, let us celebrate the brilliance and promise of our future scientists, engineers, and innovators.

To ensure that every child has access to quality education, the Schools Division of Imus City conducted a Monitoring of GEANHS' Early Registration for SY 2023-2024.


SDOIC personnel, Dr. Josephine Canlas, Dr. Marciano Valles, Ms. Riza Garcia, and Mr. June Bence Adelan verified the school's early registration status, ensuring accurate enrollment data for the upcoming academic year.


GEANHS' early registration initiatives, spearheaded by the Guidance Services, serve as a testament to our unwavering commitment to providing a conducive and inclusive learning environment for all learners.

The ICT Hub was charged with intellectual fervor as Grade 10 Science, Technology and Engineering (STE) students presented their Science Investigatory Projects yesterday. 


Through the guidance of their Science and Research teachers and SIP advisers, the students passionately articulated their ideas, providing insightful explanations and engaging in thought-provoking discussions with the panel consisting of Mr. Justin Angelo P. Salazar, Mr. Manny Esguerra, and Ms. Marycon Carmela G. Mella.

 
Spanning the fields of Physical Sciences and Life Sciences, the projects represent countless hours of dedication, curiosity, and the unrelenting pursuit of knowledge.


Outstanding papers and presenters will be awarded on May 26 during the Closing Program.

Emilian learners from the Science, Technology and Engineering (STE) Program stepped into the realm of knowledge and innovation as they gathered for the 2023 Science Congress held at GEANHS Online Hub and Conference Room earlier this morning.


Science teachers, Mr. Justin Angelo P. Salazar, Ms. Lenie D. Villaluna, and Ms. Corazon Mariano, facilitated the opening program which ignited the electrifying energy of the young scientists. Mr. Ludovico R. Resuello Jr., Teacher III/OIC-Science, also encouraged the attendees to hone their skills and passion for scientific research. 


GEANHS' Research Focal Person and distinguished researcher, Mr. Joseph R. Carreon, led the seminar proper, which provided a venue for collaborative breakthroughs and insightful discussions.


The Science Congress will continue until May 26 and will feature presentations of research projects, experiments, and exhibits by STE students.

The extraordinary talents of the Emilian Performing Arts Guild (EPAG) band and dance troupe captivated the audience during the Pasiklaban: Talents Night yesterday afternoon at GEANHS' Entablado ng Karunungan.


EPAG members and mentors have taken the stage by storm, bringing together the harmonious melodies of music and the graceful movements of dance.


The event was made possible through the support of the school administration led by Mr. Arturo P. Rosaroso Jr., the Department Heads, teachers, and EPAG advisers: Mr. Mark Deo S. Esquita, Mr. Carlito Tadlas, Jr., Mr. Christian Mancilla, Ms. Mary Joy Mantes, and Mr. Joseph Echaluce. 


GEANHS continues to hone the diverse talents of young Emilians to support their holistic development.

Our school has successfully undergone a thorough risk and safety assessment by the Imus City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) yesterday. With our students' well-being as our top priority, this assessment ensures a safe learning environment.


We'd like to express our gratitude to Ms. Marisel R-Cayetano and Mr. Roy Castronuevo of CDRRMO for their expertise and guidance throughout the process.


Also present during the inspection are our school principal, Mr. Arturo P. Rosaroso Jr., selected Department Heads, and members of the School Disaster Risk Reduction Management (SDRRM) Team.

To ensure the safety and quality of our school facilities, Engr. Jay Darius Montealegre from the Schools Division Office of Imus City led the conduct of the National School Building Inventory (NSBI) yesterday afternoon.


Engr. Montegalegre was joined by Department Heads, Mr. Mr. Ludovico Resuello Jr. and Mr. Pampilo Cerbito Jr., Supply Officer, Ms. Irene Delos Santos, and LIS Coordinator, Mr. Vergel Perdon, in inspecting classrooms and other facilities in the campus.


This comprehensive inventory allows us to assess, document, and plan for the maintenance and improvement of our educational infrastructure.

The community of General Emilio Aguinaldo National High School gathered at the Entablado ng Karunungan and covered court to celebrate the Blessing and Ribbon-cutting of Cafeteria and Opening of Learning Boulevard, May 6. 


The ceremony was attended by students, parents, and teachers of the Proud GEANHS community to commemorate the completion of another legacy project.


Hon. Igi Revilla Ocampo, City of Imus Councilor and Chairperson of the Committee on Education, and Mr. Arturo P. Rosaroso Jr., school principal, led the ribbon cutting to officially open the newest addition to a roster of facilities and infrastructure dedicated to promoting a positive learning environment.


Hon. Ocampo expressed his admiration for the school for its numerous accomplishments since the beginning of the school year.     "Kitang-kita ang husay ng inyong paaralan, hindi lamang sa mga pasilidad kundi sa kalidad ng edukasyon na inyong inihahatid sa mga kabataan," Ocampo shared. 


Ms. Khei Sanchez of the Office of Mayor Strike B. Revilla reiterated the Bacoor City Mayor's continued support to the school, as GEANHS caters a huge population of Bacooreño youth. "Kay Mayor Strike, ang pagpapaunlad ng edukasyon ay hindi kailanman titigil," Ms. Sanchez said.


In his Closing Remarks, SPTA President, Mr. Jeonard L. Abella articulated his gratitude for the continued support of parents and external partners and encouraged their active participation in future endeavors.

Bahagi parin ng ating adhikain na pagandahin ang ating paaralan, sinimulan ang pagsasaayos ng mini-garden sa ating Entablado ng Karunungan. 


Pinangunahan ng ating mga guro na sina Ms. Ma. Alodia Quinto, Ms. Melanie Benitez, at Mr. Christian Mancilla ang paglalagay ng mga halaman sa ating legacy project, kasama ang ilang mga mag-aaral na kumukuha ng kursong Crop Production sa TLE.

The newly appointed OIC-SDS of Imus City, Dr. Homer N. Mendoza, conducted an ocular visit at General Emilio Aguinaldo National High School, May 5.


During his visit, Dr. Mendoza underscored how keeping schools safe enhances students' learning and well-being. SDS Mendoza also showed his support for GEANHS' journey to Gawad Kalasag 2023, highlighting how GEANHS has continuously improved itself to promote a child-friendly space for learners.


"In line with the Gawad Kalasag of Gen Emilio Aguinaldo NHS, we urge all stakeholders to take an active role in disaster preparedness and response," he said.


OIC-SDS Mendoza visited GEANHS' legacy projects, including the Entablado ng Karunungan, School Cafeteria, and Learning Boulevard, as well as offices and faculty rooms.


Mr. Arturo P. Rosaroso Jr., school principal, shared his vision to create a safe and conducive learning environment that every Emilian Learner can be proud of.


"We want to live up to our mantra--Proud GEANHS. We want every student to feel proud of the school, and for every parent to feel at ease that their children are safe with us," Rosaroso said.


Also present during the ocular visit are the Department Heads, the ICT team, and SDRRM Chief.

Bilang hakbang sa pagpapatibay ng kaligtasan at seguridad ng mga mag-aaral, guro, at kawani ng GEANHS, isinagawa ang isang joint inspection ng PPP Buildings at iba pang mga gusali kahapon.


Pinangunahan ni Engr. Jay Darius Montealegre ng SDO Imus City ang nasabing inspeksyon, kung saan binisita niya ang iba't ibang pisikal na pasilidad ng GEANHS.


Ibinahagi rin ni G. Arturo P. Rosaroso, Jr., punongguro, ang mga proyektong pang-imprastruktura ng pamunuan, tulad ng paglikha ng legacy projects gaya ng Entablado ng Karunungan at Learning Boulevard.
