This morning, teachers, parents, and guardians gathered at the Entablado ng Karunungan for our first General Assembly of SY 2024-2025.


Ms. Marites R. Peñaredonda, Head Teacher VI, warmly welcomed everyone. Principal IV, Mrs. Lerma V. Peña, shared an inspiring message and highlighted the school's accomplishments and projects in her State of the School Address. Followed by the oath taking of Grade level HPTA officers.


SPTA President Maricar Basilan expressed gratitude to the parents, encouraging continued support for the organization.
Closing the event, Ms. Kristin Love J. Layague, Master Teacher II, thanked everyone for their presence and support.


📚 After the assembly, report cards were distributed, allowing parents and students to discuss progress and goals.

On October 30, 2024, selected students from Grades 7 to 10 gathered at General Emilio Aguinaldo National High School for Sagip Kabataan 2024, a program focused on supporting the mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our youth.


Highlights:
✨ Ms. Elizabeth Z. Villanueva opened the AM session, followed by Ms. Mylene C. Polintang, who introduced this year’s theme.
✨ Associate Pastor Joshua M. Frago presented the Life Class Program of Risen Christ Church, emphasizing personal growth.
✨ Associate Pastor Kevin Oxales delivered the first lesson, “Learning from Our Mistakes,” inspiring students to view challenges as growth opportunities.
✨ The PM session featured engaging activities led by Mr. Henry C. Donsol and Ms. Maria Greta Guinto, promoting resilience and mental wellness. Selected RCC Leaders led engaging activities that inspired students to build resilience and foster mental wellness in a supportive, fun environment.


Special thanks to Senior Pastor Leonardo Del Carmen, Pastora Nora Del Carmen, and our school principal, Mrs. Lerma V. Peña, for their support in making this initiative possible.

Earlier today, the General Emilio Aguinaldo National High School (GEANHS) was successfully monitored and validated by the regional team for the Special Needs Education Program (SNED) Implementation, Inclusive Learning Resource Centers, and the Distribution and Utilization of Procured Self-Learning Modules (SLMs) and Supplementary Learning Resources (SLRs) for Library Hubs, as well as the Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) Program.


The monitoring was led by Regional CLMD Chief Viernalyn M. Nama, alongside Regional LR EPS Dianne Catherine T. Antonio, and was warmly welcomed by GEANHS Principal IV, Mrs. Lerma V. Peña. Full support was also extended by Division of Imus City OIC-SDS Mr. Homer N. Mendoza and ASDS Bernadette T. Luna, who delivered inspiring messages during the event.


STE Focal Person Ms. Lenie D. Villaluna presented the implementation of the STE program at GEANHS, followed by SNED Focal Person Ms. Michelle T. Timado, who showcased the school's MOVs on SNED implementation. Ms. Marites R. Peñaredonda concluded the presentations with updates on the monitoring and validation of SLMs and SLRs distribution and utilization.
Also in attendance were SDOIC CID Chief Dr. Glenda DS. Catadman and SGOD OIC-Chief Mr. Ivan Honorpette A. Mijares, along with SDOIC EPS-LR Ms. Feliz A. Tayao, SDOIC EPS-Science Ms. Rochelle S. Balete, and SDOIC OIC/EPS-SNED Ms. Riza C. Garcia, who actively participated in this important event.


The presence of GEANHS department heads and other key personnel involved in the implementation of these programs added to the success of this productive activity.

Earlier today, General Emilio Aguinaldo National High School (GEANHS) proudly hosted the 4th Division Management Committee (ManCom) Meeting, welcoming SDO officials and heads of various public schools under the leadership of ASDS - OIC - OSDS Homer N. Mendoza.
 

Mr. Ronnie B. Yohan, Administrative Officer V,  spearheaded the roll call of the attending schools, while Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Ms. Bernadette T. Luna provided school leaders with important updates on the Status of Actions Arising from the Previous ManCom Meeting.
 

Following the opening program, ASDS - OIC - OSDS Homer N. Mendoza formally commenced the meeting.
SDO Chiefs, unit heads, and section heads presented updates on the various projects and activities within their departments. Additionally, critical issues and concerns that required resolution were discussed.

 

Towards the end of the ManCom Meeting, the Superintendent took the opportunity to engage with the school heads during the Superintendent's Hour, providing essential reminders and addressing any outstanding issues and concerns within the department.
 

Together, we are committed to fostering a collaborative environment that enhances our educational landscape. Let us continue to work hand in hand towards excellence in education and empower our students to reach their fullest potential!

On October 29-30, 2024, the GEANHS Covered Court came alive with the North Secondary Cluster Meet 2024! From fierce competition to the celebration of excellence, this event truly embodied sportsmanship and unity.

Here’s a recap of the memorable closing ceremony:
🙏 The ceremony opened with a prayer and the Philippine National Anthem, setting the tone for a heartfelt event.


🎙️ Our amazing Masters of Ceremony, Bob C. Belocura Jr. & Leonor F. Madali, guided us through each special moment. ✨ Annabelle G. Bughao shared a meaningful Word of Thanks, honoring everyone’s hard work.


🥇 Winners were announced by the Tournament Directors, followed by Merriam Genevieve S. Montes, Chairman of Records and Tabulation, who revealed the athletes selected for DAAM.


📜   Challenge were offered to motivate  all athletes, reminding them of the spirit and resilience they displayed.Responding on behalf of our athletes, Arnel I. Candelaria, GEANHS Sports Club Coordinator, expressed gratitude and dedication for the journey ahead.


The ceremonial lowering of the North Secondary Banner was led by Lerma V. Peña, Principal IV & North Secondary Cluster Head, and joined by school heads and sports coordinators who lowered their school banners in solidarity.


🏅 Finally, Pampilo B. Cerbito Jr., MT-II & GEANHS Department Head, closed the event with words of encouragement in his Closing Remarks, bringing our 2024 North Secondary Cluster Meet to a close with pride and hope for future success.

And just like that, the 3-day training on October 7-9, 2024 event titled “𝑺𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆: 𝑪𝒚𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑬𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝑨𝑰 𝑼𝒔𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝑬𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏” has finally concluded. What a great opportunity this has been for our Emilian Educators at GEANHS!


As we continue celebrating Cybersecurity Awareness Month here at GEANHS, we were privileged to have Mr. John Philip B. Tan, Project Development Officer of the DICT (Department of Information and Communications Technology), and Mr. John Vandrick A. Diaz, Planning Assistant, both from the DICT Region IV-A Cavite, as our speakers for this activity.


From the beginning to the last day of the training, both speakers had very informative discussions with our select teachers, shedding light on some cybersecurity issues and challenges that teachers encounter daily.


They highlighted how teachers and learners can protect themselves online while harnessing the full potential of Artificial Intelligence, especially in the field of education.
 

Additionally, they emphasized that ethics and responsibility must go hand in hand, urging teachers to be vigilant against misinformation and to always fact-check information found online. The message was clear: technology should be used to bring about positive change and benefit society without causing harm.


We are very grateful for this collaboration with the DICT Region IVA - Calabarzon  and GEANHS. And remember, while AI empowers decision-making, it's essential never to lose the human touch.

To help our Grade 10 learners choose the right career path, GEANHS  held today its annual Career Guidance and Employment Coaching Activity.
This year's theme was “Emilianong Kabataan, Hinubog sa Matatag na Kaalaman,” and the event took place at the Entablado ng Karunungan.


The goal of the program was to guide our Grade 10 students in choosing the career track that best suits them. Mrs. Lerma V. Peña opened the event by welcoming all Grade 10 learners and participating schools.


Hon. Tito V. Monzon, , conveyed the message of Mayor Alex "AA" L. Advincula to the students of GEANHS about his projects aimed at helping the students.. He also says Mayor AA is looking forward to giving scholarships to those deserving students.


Ms. Clarita T. Casing of PESO Manager, gave an overview, empowering young people through their program of giving opportunity for students to have a job while the school is on break ‘Summer Job’ to connect the matter of program. 


Ms. Regine C. Velasco took the stage to provide further insight, emphasizing how crucial it is for students to base their career choices on their unique skills, talents, and abilities.


With the knowledge and experiences they have gained here at GEANHS, we know they are well-prepared to embrace the opportunities that lie ahead.

Early this morning, schools from the North Cluster of Imus City gathered at GEANHS for the North Cluster Meet 2024 Solidarity Meeting.


Mrs. Lerma V. Peña opened the program, warmly welcoming all participants to the solidarity meeting. She emphasized the importance of building strong relationships and upholding core values throughout the competition. 🤝


Mr. Pampilo Cerbito Jr. introduced the Tournament Directors and officials for the upcoming cluster meet, reminding them of their responsibilities and the importance of addressing challenges promptly. ✅


In their messages, Ms. Annabelle Bughao highlighted the power of UNITY—though we compete, we share the same goal of developing disciplined athletes. 🏅💪


Meanwhile, Ms. Petronia Tarun stressed the importance of sportsmanship, starting with the coaches, and fostering a passion for respect and camaraderie. ❤️


The Breakout Sessions allowed tournament directors and their teams to discuss their events in detail, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Opening Program Highlights - October 28, 2024:
Mrs. Lerma V. Peña opened the event with a warm welcome to all participants and coaches, setting the tone for an inspiring and competitive event.


Ms. Annabelle G. Bughao, OIC-School Head of GFYSHS, delivered a heartfelt message encouraging our athletes to give their best in every competition. 💪


The EPS of MAPEH, Mr. Marciano V. Valles, shared an inspirational message reminding athletes about the importance of sportsmanship and respect. He emphasized that “win or lose, what truly matters is the pride you bring to your school by doing your very best.”
The program featured vibrant cheers from each delegation, the ceremonial Lighting of the Friendship Urn, and the Raising of the North Secondary Banner alongside individual school banners, marking the official start of the games.


Our Palarong Pambansa athlete from SDO Imus City, Prince Philip E. Canja, led the Athlete’s Oath of Sportsmanship with pride, while Mr. Valles led the Oath for Officiating Officials, promising fair play and integrity throughout the event.

On October 10, 2024, GEANHS, in collaboration with the Office of the Provincial Population Officer - Trece Martires, held a symposium this morning for selected learners, focusing on teenage pregnancy and other key issues affecting adolescents.


Mrs. Lerma V. Peña, Principal IV of GEANHS, welcomed attendees and highlighted the significance of such activities in guiding our Emilian learners.


Ms. Denise Jane E. Ligsa, Population Program Worker 1, Office of the Provincial Population Officer - Trece Martires, delivered a meaningful talk, providing students with important information about fertility and sexuality, helping them go through the challenges of adolescence with knowledge and confidence.


The EPAG band also played at the event, adding excitement and keeping everyone engaged.
Ms. Janice P. Bayot, Population Program Officer I from the Office of the Provincial Population Officer - Trece Martires, provided practical advice to our learners after watching some short films that illustrate the real-life struggles faced by our youth today.


In closing, Mr. Henry C. Donsol, Head Teacher VI of the ESP Department, reminded everyone that life can present unexpected challenges, but thanks to the symposium, our learners are now prepared to make sound choices on their journey to adulthood.

Step Up International Services, Inc. conducted an outreach program for the Special Education (SPED) learners of GEANHS on October 5 at the ICT Conference Room.


SPED learners and their families participated in games and activities, met their favorite mascots, and received gifts of school supplies and grocery packs. The community also gathered for a meaningful prayer led by Pstr. Joselito B. Dela Cruz.


The event culminated with a significant milestone--the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between GEANHS and Step Up International Services, Inc., represented by its President, Ms. Trina Pendor. This partnership will enable future collaborations and support for GEANHS’ SPED program.


The outreach program was attended by SPED Teachers, Department Heads, and the dedicated program proponents, Mr. Marlon Silva, Mr. Christian Quindiza and Mr. Rhede Boy Garong. Their presence and support underscored the importance of providing inclusive and supportive learning environments for all Emilians.

GEANHS community honored the amazing Emilian teachers during its school-based celebration of World Teachers’ Day on October 4.
The opening program featured a series of special performances, including dance numbers by SSLG officers and class presidents, and song numbers by the Emilian Performing Arts Guild (EPAG) band. The event also showcased the talent of GEANHS alumnus, Mr. Aldrin Memije, and GEANHS teacher, Mr. Michael Angelo Maleriado. 


To express their gratitude and appreciation, the school awarded special recognition to Seasoned Teachers, Star Teachers, Most Jolly Teachers, teacher with Perfect Attendance for 2023, and Teacher Fashionistas. These awards highlighted the diverse talents, dedication, and positive impact of GEANHS’ teachers. 


In addition to the awards, the program included a series of raffle entries with generous sponsors, such as the GEANHS Teachers Multipurpose Cooperative, City Savings Bank Bacoor, and Mrs. Lerma V. Peña, school principal. The SM Store Bacoor gave out free SM Advantage Cards (SMAC) and discount coupons, while the school administration distributed bond papers to all teachers as a token of appreciation. 


Imus City Mayor Alex "AA" L. Advincula also showed his support for the teachers by gifting them with free wall clocks and umbrellas, demonstrating the community’s appreciation for the hard work and dedication of teachers.


The successful celebration was made possible by the collaborative efforts of the Teachers and Employees Club (TEC), led by Mr. Christian Quindoza, the School Parents Teachers Association (SPTA), headed by President Ms. Maricar Basilan, the Supreme Secondary Learners Government (SSLG) under the guidance of Mr. Jonaldie Fabaliña, and GEANHS' very own school principal, Mrs. Peña.

Mrs. Lerma V. Peña, our ever-supportive Principal IV, gave a warm and inspiring welcome to everyone, setting the tone for what turned out to be a truly exciting day.
Ms. Rochelle S. Balete, Education Program Supervisor of Science, proudly introduced our expert judges, while Dr. Glenda DS Catadman, CID Chief, walked everyone through how the competition unfolded, building the excitement even more.
This all-day event, organized by Schools Division of Imus City, was a true celebration of talent, creativity, and forward-thinking.

GEANHS officially launched its Intramurals 2024 earlier today with a colorful parade of the five competing teams, accompanied by the beats of the school’s Drum and Lyre Band. 


The participating teams included the Grade 7 Green Tamaraws, Grade 8 Yellow Tigers, Grade 9 Red Fox, Grade 10 Blue Wolves, and the SPED Orange Leopards. 
Mr. Pampilo B. Cerbito Jr., OIC of the MAPEH Department, delivered an inspiring message emphasizing the true spirit of the games – sportsmanship, camaraderie, and healthy competition.
