Even when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, the City Government of Imus , through the leadership of Mayor Alex Advincula, continues to make efforts in fighting infectious diseases such as dengue.
As part of its endeavor to prevent dengue outbreak and contain the upsurge of cases, the City Government donated an anti-dengue fogging machine to GEANHS, through the CDRRMO, on October 13, 2022.
Present during the turn over and signing of Deed of Donation are the officers of GEANHS School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) and Department Heads. Arturo P. Rosaroso Jr., Principal IV, accepted the donations in behalf of the school community.
"We are very thankful for such donation as fogging can quickly and effectively eliminate harmful mosquitoes in large areas such as classrooms and buildings. It will help keep our learners safe," Rosaroso expressed his gratitude to the City Government of Imus.
To commemorate the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, the CDRRMO underscored the importance of fogging in decreasing the risk of dengue fever.
The school is one with the City of Imus in keeping learners safe against dengue through the Enhanced 4S Strategy: Search and destroy; Seek early consultation; Self-protection measures; and Say yes to fogging during outbreaks.
