In support of the objectives of the theme, the TLE Department organized competitions for the whole month of July. TLE teachers encouraged students from all year levels to join and support the activities during the Nutrition Month celebration.

The celebration started with the Poster Making Contest, where students were encouraged to create posters relevant to the theme. Other competitions included: Vegetable Planting Contest; Hair and Make-up Competition; Spoken Word Poetry; Photo Contest; Nutri-Drinks; Complete Meal; and Experimental Fish Dish.

One of the highlights of the Nutrition Month celebration was the Jingle Competition where sections from different grade levels competed with each other by creating and performing their own songs, promoting health, nutrition and exercise. The unique and creative choreography put into each song made the performances more interesting and fun to watch. Nonetheless, the effort that each student exerted in order to come up with a great performance was undeniably commendable. The Grand Finals of the Jingle Competition, as well as the Awarding and Closing Ceremony, took place on the 23rd of July 2019. The ten best performances vied for the title and in the end, Section SPJ 10-Love Jhoy was hailed as the Grand Champion for this school year.
