The onset of the pandemic has affected millions of Filipinos. The recurrent lockdown extensions proved to be a bigger challenge. Uncertainty has brought turmoil in the minds and hearts of the people. The question, "When will this end?" is yet to be answered.

As darkness dawns in human's lives, it allows them to properly recognize and value the light; and in the long run, be the light that others need. If anything, COVID-19 opened the eyes of many on giving and sharing even the smallest things they often take for granted.

When NCR Plus was placed under the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) on March 29, 2021, GEANHS' non-teaching personnel were dedicated to report to work daily despite threats of the pandemic. GEANHS' community has been blessed with selfless individuals and organizations who constantly extend their giving hands.

On April 7, 2021, Mayor Emmanuel L. Maliksi distributed supplies of face masks, face shileds, and Vitamin C supplements to office clerks, the Civil Security Unit (CSU), and utility personnel.

SDO Imus City, led by Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Rosemarie D, Torres, and Assistance Schools Division Superintendent, Mr. Ivan Bryan L. Inductivo, sent rice and eggs to teh school for distrubution on April 8, 2021.

On April 26, 2021 Mrs. Lerma V. Peña, school head, initiated the conduct of GEANHS Community Pantry, with the assistance of Department Heads. Groceries such as oil and condiments, eggs, and vegetables were donated by Mr. Rico Peña and Mr. Ricky Peña, to be shared to non-teaching personnel.

The pandemic has been and remains a hurdle; but through social solidarity, the Filipino people shall prevail.
